The history
An icon reimagined
The Gilbert, a vibrant space that blends the charm of the past with the possibility of the future, blurring the lines of work and play. The Gilbert, once a members only club designed by Architects Frederick Gould and Giles Gilbert Scott, has been reimaged to cater to the needs of the modern worker and workspace. The extensive refurbishment saw minimal demolition which allowed the heritage building to retain 90% of the embodied carbon and retain its charm and place in history
Through its recent refurbishment, The Gilbert has been returned to its former glory. Close attention
has been paid to the unique and original features of this magnificent heritage building.
